Opex Rates
Opex long distance US domestic rate is 2.7¢ per minute for business and residential accounts for all state-to-state calls (the rate may be higher in tier-B and tier-C areas). The calls are billed in 6-second 18 seconds minimum (30 seconds minimum for international calls) increments for business and 60 seconds increments for residential service.
OPEX is a carrier. They buy their network in bulk from a large nationwide network provider called Global Crossing. Since they buy in such bulk, their rates are deeply discounted and low.
